Bantry Stone Circle, one of the unique stone circles which were built in the Cork / Kerry region during Bronze Age, 2000-500 BC.
The circles consist of symmetrically arranged stones with the two tallest or portal stones to the north-east froming an entrance, and the lowest to the south-west called the axial stone. The number of stones in the circle can vary fom 5 yo 19.
