Grand Palace in Bangkok , (83 images) We have been visiting Grand Palace multiple times and still it give us a breathtaking experience. But be aware of the rules for how to dress before you go. And it closes 15.30 in the afternoon. Also there are unfortunately many trying to scam tourists at the gate. Never trust any good looking and good english speaking person trying to get your attention here. Normally they claim the palace is closed today... However, this is beside the point. The Palace is breathtaking and is worth a couple of hours visit. The emerald Budda is a holy place for Buddhists and Thais. And there must be tons of gold in there.
